Cocktail Experience

The Vaults Cocktail experience is an innovative team building or social occasion, held in the famous Vaults Restaurant & Bar in the heart of the city centre. It is designed to show the ground rules of mixing cocktails, basic ingredients and presentation. It is not a “flair” or bottle juggling course. It may be part of a day visiting Cambridge, an unusual way of entertaining colleagues or clients, or a pre-cursor to an evening out in the City. The Package Includes:

On arrival, a complementary glass of Prosecco is served, and the bar is open for preliminary libations. You are then split into smaller teams each led by a qualified mixologist.

1. Two Hour Interactive Tutorial

Led by a member of the professional Bar team, each group will be taken through the history of Cocktails and their evolution over the years. A demonstration of cocktail making techniques, basic cocktail recipes and tasting of the ingredients and end results follows. There will be plenty of opportunity to ask questions – and you are expected to take notes during the training session for future use!

2. Cocktail Competition

Using your knowledge and notes, each group will then be asked to create a cocktail from a selection of ingredients chosen by the experience leader. One member of each team will make the cocktail in front of the whole group, and the leader will chose a winning cocktail from those made. The winning team will receive a bottle of bubbly! The price of the full course is £25 per person. Full packages with dinner and fine wine after your cocktail experience are also available – ask for details. We are an independent bar and restaurant, therefore if you have any special requirements we will do our best to meet them. Please note:
